Blue Sky Ecological Reserve is a 700-acre canyon. Fully trained docents offer hands-on experiences to identify and observe plants and animals, resource preservation activities, and programs

  2. Community Park

Community Park is one of our most active parks right in the heart of Poway! Ride the bowl at the Skate Park, hit a home run in the ball fields, swing at Adventure Playground, shout "bingo" at the Senior Center, run with your dog at Dog Park, or borrow fun recreational equipment while picnicking.

  3. Lake Poway

Nestled in the hills of Poway, the Lake Poway Recreation Area not only serves as the water supply for residents, but also has provided exceptional outdoor recreational opportunities since 1972. Get hooked on fishing and boating, head up the mountain on a hike, take aim at archery, or enjoy a leisurely picnic.

  1. Old Poway Park

See life as it once was as early 20th century California comes alive at Old Poway Park. Come ride the vintage 1907 Baldwin No. 3 Steam Locomotive, visit the Heritage Museum and Nelson House, tour historic buildings, or enjoy a peaceful picnic in our beautiful park.

  2. Veterans Park

The Veterans Park serves as a permanent tribute to the past, present, and future veterans of the United States Military who have provided unselfish and honorable service to this country.
